Margarida Leme

Margarida Leme has a degree in History from the Faculty of Arts of the Universidade de Lisboa (1974), a degree as librarian-archivist from the Faculty of Arts of the Universidade de Coimbra (1980), and a PhD in Historical Archivistics from the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences of the Universidade Nova de Lisboa ( 2019).
Between 1980 and 2013 she was responsible for the Documentation and Information Center (Library and Archive) of the National Press – Mint and for the Portuguese Numismatic Museum.
She is a member of the Institute of Medieval Studies at NOVA FCSH, with areas of interest in family history and historical archiving, as well as the history of books and reading.
