VINCULUM at the Science and Technology Week 2020
VINCULUM project’s participation in the Science and Technology Week 2020 (Portugal) featured an online session entitled “O que são morgadios e para que serve um projeto de investigação sobre eles?” (What are entails and why a research project about them?).
The S&T week is a collaborative effort of scientists and institutions to promote science and research as a fundamental basis for the advancement of knowledge, scientific culture and societal progress. VINCULUM was proud of joining the event.
This webinar (in Portuguese) was prepared for a broader audience: interested parties in this field of study, such as local historians and genealogists, university and secondary school students, researchers in general. It was carried out by (in order of appearance) ERC grantee Maria de Lurdes Rosa, Ricardo Naito (as responsible for the project science communication), Maria Beatriz Merêncio and Joana Soares (internship students), and Tiago Sousa Mendes (genealogist and activist in the protection of archival heritage).
The session aims at explaining the project and share information on its current progress. It also wants to help establishing new bridges with communities and future collaborations.
A important notice about this session recording, due to technical reasons several minutes in the beginning and end were not recorded. Please accept our apologies.
