Closing of the event “Vínculos com (a) História: à descoberta do passado na Ribeira Lima”
The event “Vínculos com (a) História: à descoberta das casas históricas da Ribeira Lima”, promoted by the VINCULUM Project in partnership with the Municipality of Ponte de Lima, TURIHAB and Patrimonium, came to an end last weekend.
During the weekends of 21-22 and 28-29, there were approximately 1,500 registrations for the visits to some of Ribeira Lima’s most emblematic manor houses, opened to the public for the first time. The initiative was widely highlighted in the media, with over 30 mentions in different newspapers, radio stations, television channels and cultural agendas. The VINCULUM Project is currently preparing a full report on the event, including the results of satisfaction surveys. These statistics will soon be available on the project’s website.
In addition to the visits to the various manor houses that opened to the public over the last few days, the initiative also featured a conference programme, which included presentations by Teresa Andresen and Paula Moura Pinheiro, as well as fraternisation and leisure moments, under the theme “Fruir um espaço onírico”.
The event thus marked another milestone in the valorization and promotion of the region’s History and cultural heritage.
