Rodolfo Feio wrote about Fernão Pereira Barreto and Catarina de Sequeira, residents in Loulé, who founded a morgadio on July 15, 1499. This entail included several agricultural lands in Loulé, such as the quintãs do Freixo Verde e dos Figueirais.
Mário Farelo, taking us back to the end of the 17th century, outlined the actions and diligences of João Veloso Cabral to obtain the administration of the chapel founded by Beatriz de Azevedo in Loulé.
Arthur Curvelo wrote about the chapel of Nossa Senhora da Porta do Céu, founded in Loulé. In the 17th century, the memory of this entail had been lost, which enabled Jerónimo Brito de Aragão to obtain the lifelong administration of the chapel.
